My Approach
Are you looking to step up your social media? Hi! I’m Sophia, a social media content creator with a passion for bringing brands to life through authentic storytelling and human connection.
With a background in acting, I’m completely at home on camera which means I don’t just create content, I perform it with purpose. I specialize in capturing the real people, moments, and energy behind a brand to create content that doesn’t just look good, but feels good.
My goal is simple: to help businesses connect with their audience in a way that’s relatable, joyful, and real. Whether I’m behind the camera or in front of it, I focus on highlighting customer experiences and making your brand shine with warmth, light, and personality.
Aside from social media, I can help you create ways to boost your customer engagement and experience through event/party planning and more!
Why do I need social media?
Consistent Online Social Activity will:
Put you in front of your competitors
Create a sense of FOMO making people want what you're selling
Create a personal connection and trust with the consumer by showing them relevant photos and videos
Make it easy for people to share your brand with their friends
Keep you relevant and make sure everyone can stay up to date with your company
What makes Girl Next Door different?
I am professional actor who is confident on camera and has an engaging presence.
I am a trained vocalist who can provide polished voiceovers.
My storytelling skills allow the content I create to feel alive and energetic rather than a just another post.
I know the balance between keeping up with trends and creating completely original content that is unique to the brand.
I will work with you to gain a true understanding of your company and goals so I can make content that is true to YOU!

Made for a Charter Boat Company based out of the USVI
Why this worked:
We all know the Caribbean is a dream vacation destination, so our goal here is to show consumers why they should spend their Caribbean vacation on this specific boat rather than a resort or other charter. We are focusing on the story behind the captains and how these qualities provide a unique experience for guests. In this video, we are showcasing energy, personality, and service.

Created for a Restaurant switching to new ownership
Why this worked:
This is a campaign I worked with the head chef to create. This restaurant had recently undergone a lot of positive changes. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a bad reputation and a lot of negative google reviews. It was very important to the owner to fix the reviews. To rebuild trust with old customers, we faced the reviews head on and showed everyone how great we had become! I had a few larger marketing companies telling me to not do this and that I should bury these reviews, and while I do not think this is the right strategy for every business, it absolutely was for this restaurant! Not only were these videos helping our follower count and engagement grow, they were bringing people in! We were able to connect with our audience through humility and honesty. Burger King recently used this same strategy!

This video is promoting an in-store event for a New England Coffee chain
Why it worked:
A good hook is key to a successful reel. This can be done by showing short clips of “what’s next”! In this case, by making a donation to someone in need, customers could receive a free drink! The goal was to show off a few of the holiday beverage specials and small clips of the store in order to inspire donations.

Made for a restaurant
Why this worked:
For this video, we decided to jump on a trend! After the McDonald’s CEO bite fiasco, small businesses all over were having their CEO try burgers on their menu! Luckily, the owner was very excited to be featured. We made sure to use key words and phrases in this reel. We also added our own twist by showing a menu item that made this restaurant different.

Event:
Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Watch Party
Why it worked:
The goal of this event was to boost midweek sales and create a fun experience for guests that they can only get at this restaurant. Rather than simply show the special, I wanted this event to be interactive. I hired a drag queen to host, perform and judge a Y2K outfit contest. I made bingo cards for guests to play while watching the special. I worked with the bartenders to create special cocktails served in themed cups available exclusively that night. This event was a huge success! We had new guests that had never been in before and now will return. We were able to gather great social media content which received a lot of engagement. We did over 80% of our sales for the day during the event and saved what could have been a really slow day!
Event:
The Sip and Jingle: A Holiday Fiesta Experience
Why it worked:
This was holiday party complete with a tequila tasting with a tequila expert, specialty menu, live jazz music and a welcome cocktail. The goal of this event was to show off our talented chef and bartenders! With specialty drinks and menu, the staff was able to create food and beverages that do not normally appear on our menu, giving guests an exclusive vibe. This party was festive and lively! Guests had a very good time.
